The Keyword overview is the place where you’ll find every keyword RankYak has discovered for your project. It updates automatically as RankYak continues researching your niche and identifying new search opportunities.
This page gives you a simple overview of everything RankYak will (and already has) written for.
📋 What the keyword list shows you
When you open Keywords in the left menu, you'll see a list of all keywords discovered for your project.
RankYak continuously expands this list based on:
Your niche
Live search data
Ranking potential
Topic clusters
Every keyword in this list will automatically be added to your content plan calendar.
🗓 Automatically planned for you
You don't have to schedule anything manually.
RankYak will automatically:
Assign keywords to your publishing calendar
Write articles for them (one per day)
Mark keywords as "written" once the article is completed
This means your SEO content pipeline is always running in the background.
⭐ Starring keywords
If you want to keep certain keywords easy to find, you can star them by clicking the star icon next to any keyword.
Starring is helpful when:
You want to keep an eye on specific opportunities
You want a smaller personal shortlist to refer to
You can view all starred keywords using the Starred filter at the top.
🗃 Archiving keywords
If there are keywords you don't want RankYak to use, you can archive them.
You can archive:
By clicking the three dots next to a keyword
Or by selecting multiple keywords using the checkboxes and archiving them in bulk
Archived keywords are hidden from your main list, but not deleted. At the bottom of the page, click Show archive to view or restore archived keywords.
🔎 Views & filters
At the top of the Keyword List, you’ll find several views that help you navigate your keywords:
All keywords: Shows every keyword RankYak has discovered for your project.
High-opportunity: Keywords where RankYak expects your website to have a strong chance of ranking well. These are generally great targets for faster or easier traffic wins.
Starred: Shows only the keywords you've starred.
Planned: Keywords already scheduled in your content calendar.
Unplanned: Keywords that haven't been planned yet, usually because RankYak is still prioritizing, clustering, or researching around them.
✍️ Show/hide written keywords
With the toggle Show written, you can choose whether to display keywords that already have an article written.
When on: You also see keywords that have already been completed
When off: You only see keywords that still have content coming up
This helps you focus on either future opportunities or completed work.
🎯 Summary

Every keyword RankYak discovers
What's planned
