The backlink overview shows you all the backlinks your website has received through the RankYak backlink exchange. This page gives you insight into your backlink growth, sources, and the current status of each link.
You can access it by going to Backlinks in the left-hand menu.
📊 Backlink summary
At the top of the page, you'll see a quick summary of your backlink performance, including:
Total backlinks received
Unique sources linking to your site
Growth graph showing backlink progression over time
This gives you a clear picture of how your authority is improving thanks to RankYak's backlink exchange.
🔗 Backlink list
Below the summary, you'll find a detailed list of every backlink your website has received. For each backlink, you can see:
The website linking to you
The article on your site it points to
The status of the backlink
Backlink statuses
Published — The backlink is live and has been confirmed by RankYak.
Pending — The backlink is expected, but it hasn’t been verified yet.
Expired — The backlink was not published in time by the other website.
Removed — The backlink was removed by the other website and is no longer considered active.
This helps you track the health and reliability of your backlink connections.
🔁 Joining or leaving the backlink network
To start receiving backlinks, you need to join the backlink exchange.
Joining the network
Go to Backlinks
Click Join network
Once you join, RankYak will begin matching your content with relevant websites and placing backlinks automatically.
Leaving the network
If you no longer want to participate, you can click Leave network at any time. Leaving stops both giving and receiving backlinks.
✔️ Eligibility requirements
To join the network, your articles must be reachable by RankYak. This can be done in two ways:
Have an active integration (so RankYak knows your article URLs automatically), or
Provide the full URL manually for each published article
This ensures that backlinks can be properly matched, verified, and tracked.
