By default, RankYak plans, generates, and publishes one new article every day. This ensures steady, consistent SEO growth, but you can customize this schedule to fit your preferences.
If you don't want daily publishing or prefer specific days and times, you can adjust your schedule at any time.
⚙️ How to change your publishing schedule
To modify the schedule for your project:
Go to your project
Open Settings
Navigate to Project
Find the Schedule section
Here you can customize:
Which days of the week RankYak should plan and publish articles
What time of day articles should be generated and published
This gives you full control over how often your content goes live. After making changes, make sure to reschedule the calendar.
Reschedule/reset the calendar
If you made changes to your schedule, or want other keywords planned, you can reschedule your calendar. You can find this option in the calendar by clicking Reschedule, or in your project settings at the Schedule section.
This action will clear all planned articles, including ones you manually planned, and generate a fresh calendar based on your current schedule settings. Published articles will not be affected.
Example: Skip weekends
If you don't want to publish on weekends:
Simply disable Saturday and Sunday in the schedule
RankYak will only plan articles for the remaining days
Your content plan will continue normally on the days you keep enabled
This is especially useful for businesses that prefer weekday publishing or want to match their audience’s activity.
🕒 Preferred publishing times
You can also choose the exact time articles should be generated and published.
This helps if you:
Want articles to go live during your peak traffic hours
Prefer publishing in your local morning or afternoon
Align releases with your internal processes or newsletter timing
RankYak will automatically follow the time you set.
🎯 Summary
The Schedule settings let you control:
Which days articles are planned
When articles are generated and published
How often content goes live
RankYak still handles everything automatically, you just define the rhythm.
