Make integration

The Make integration allows you to automate publishing by sending new RankYak articles into any platform supported by Make. Whenever RankYak generates an article, your Make scenario can automatically send it to your CMS, database, social media tool, or any other connected service.

šŸ”— How to connect Make

To start, go to your project, open Settings → Integrations, and click Connect next to Make. Then follow the steps below.

1. Set up a Make scenario

  1. Log in to your Make account

  2. Create a new scenario

  3. Search for the RankYak app

  4. Add Watch published articles as the trigger

  5. Create a webhook for the trigger

  6. Copy the webhook URL

  7. Paste the webhook URL into RankYak

After saving, the webhook connection will activate.

2. Trigger behavior

Once connected:

  • The Make trigger will run every time RankYak generates a new article

  • The article data will be sent to Make automatically

  • You can connect any other platform to the scenario (CMS, Notion, Airtable, etc.)

  • Map the fields from RankYak to your system to create a new post or perform any action you want

This gives you full flexibility for publishing or processing articles outside of RankYak's built-in integrations.

āŒ Removing the integration

If you want to disable the Make connection:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Find the Webhook section

  3. Click Disable

This immediately stops Make from receiving new article triggers.

šŸŽÆ Summary

With the Make integration, RankYak can:

  • Send new articles directly into Make

  • Trigger workflows every time content is generated

  • Allow publishing or processing on any connected platform

  • Give you full control over custom automation

It's the ideal choice when you want flexibility or when your CMS isn't supported directly by RankYak.
