You don't need to edit articles inside RankYak.
All articles are meant to be edited directly in your own CMS, using the editor you are already familiar with (such as WordPress, Webflow, Wix, etc.).
This keeps your workflow simple and avoids learning yet another editor.
āļø Editing drticles in your CMS
Once an article is published (or saved as a draft), you can:
Edit the text
Adjust headings
Add or remove images
Change formatting
Insert internal or external links
Make any final tweaks you want
Just like you would with any other blog post on your website. RankYak does not overwrite manual changes you make in your CMS.
š Reviewing articles before publishing
If you prefer to review articles before they go live, you can tell RankYak to publish them as drafts instead of publishing them automatically.
To enable this:
Go to your project
Open Settings ā Integrations
Edit your CMS integration settings
Enable Publish articles as draft
New articles will then appear as drafts in your CMS, giving you full control over when they go live.
šÆ Summary
Articles are edited in your own CMS, not in RankYak
You can use the editor you already know
RankYak won't overwrite your changes
You can publish articles as drafts to review them first
This keeps RankYak fully automated, while still giving you complete editorial control.
