To make your articles rank in Google and appear in AI search engines like Perplexity and ChatGPT, they need to be published on your website. RankYak gives you two options:
Automatic publishing (recommended)
Manual publishing
Both methods work perfectly, choose whichever fits your setup.
š Automatic publishing (recommended)
You can set up auto-publishing by connecting RankYak to your website. Once enabled, RankYak will publish each new article automatically via your CMS, with no manual work required.
Supported integrations include:
WordPress
WordPress.com
Shopify
Wix
Webflow
Make
Zapier
You can also connect RankYak to other platforms through:
API
RSS feed
Webhooks
After the integration is configured, RankYak handles everything: publishing, metadata, formatting, and scheduling.
āļø Manual publishing
If you use a CMS that RankYak does not currently support, or if you prefer to stay hands-on, you can publish articles manually.
How to publish manually
Open the article in RankYak
In the bottom-right corner, click Copy article
Choose your preferred format
Copy as rich text (most commonly recommended)
Other formats depending on your CMS
Go to your CMS and create a new blog post
Paste the article content into the editor
Click Copy meta data in RankYak
Copy and paste:
Article title
Meta title
Meta description
Slug (used for the article URL)
Publish the article on your website
Copy the full URL of your published article
In RankYak, click Mark as published and paste the URL
This tells RankYak exactly where the article lives on your website.
Tip: Batch publishing
You don't need to publish articles every single day. If it's more convenient, you can publish multiple articles at once, for example once per week. RankYak will still continue writing daily in the background.
šÆ Summary
To make your SEO strategy work, your articles must be published on your website.
You can:
Set up auto-publishing for full automation
Or publish manually if your CMS requires it
Either way, RankYak ensures your articles are ready to rank with optimized metadata, formatting, and high-quality content.
